The design, originally called “Summer Sampler”, is from an old UK magazine, and has 9 blocks in a criss-cross square design (picture below). However, I stitched the 9 blocks separately and sewed them individually to make a wreath. I changed some words too: “amo” (I don’t know what this word means) to “love”, in the heart design; and the Initial “MT” to “HOME”, in the house design. I had kept this wreath for 4 years, in my home, but recently gave it to my sister when she came to Canada this past fall.
Designs are from an old magazine, I stitched “In the Valley” and “By the Pond” in 2001. I stitched “On the Farm” in 2004. Since I finished this last part 3 years after the first 2 parts, my framer wasn’t able to find the same frame as the first 2 parts.
