Knitting Scarves

My friend, who is also a member from my church choir, used to own a store that sold wool and DMC flosses, and just recently she gave me some craft supplies that she now longer had use for. I was given many yarns of wool for knitting and approximately 1,500 DMC flosses. I started knitting last week and so far, I've knitted six scarves and one hat. I knitted a blue scarf for my daughter, a dark blue scarf and hat for my son, and a pink scarf for my friend. I am planning to knit another scarf for my friend soon.

Four Seasons

I stitched two sets of four season series in 2004. I don’t remember the designer because I gave the pattern away.

First sets: Winter Oval, Spring Oval, Summer Oval and Autumn Oval

Second sets: Spring Rainbow, Summer Bluebirds, Autumn Squirrel and Winter Cardinals

The Lord's Prayer

I stitched two different “The Lord’s Prayer” from different designs.

The first one I stitched was designed by Carol Emmer. I stitched three of these in early ‘90 for three different Reverends in my church.

The second one was designed by Praying Hands Collection. I stitched this in ‘98 for myself, but ended up giving it away to my older brother.

Canadian Rocky Mountains

In September, 2009 I went to the Canadian Rocky Mountains with my brother, sister and her husband. It was my fourth time seeing the Rockies, but it was the first time for my siblings. The weather was nice.We travelled in a tour group with a guide who was so intelligent and knowledgeable of the Rockies. He was a very experienced guide who knew a lot about everything, including all genres of music. He played his music cds on the bus and we enjoyed listening to them. The trip was fabulous but too short.
