15 side pincushions

I made some pincushions in different colours and shapes, such as blue, red and starfish shape. It was fun to make and a very lovely shape. I want to try to make them again someday. I just pick small designs (bird, rose…) from freebies here and there to fit in a little square. And I don’t remember where I picked them.

My Collections 1

I stitched lots of small patterns in the past couple of years. Most of them are from web freebies here and there.I enjoy stitching small patterns to make pincushions, fobs, biscornus, key chains, etc. Lots of these have already been given away.

Tool Sampler Biscornu

I used small motifs from the Tool sampler, freebie from web.

I made two, blue colour and red colour, Aug/2007.

Debi's Roses Biscornu

This is the second design I used from Chatelaine and I made it into a biscornu in July, 2007. I add tassels on each of the four corners. It turned out so pretty.

Martina's Roses Biscornu

I made these lovely biscornus in March, 2007. Design is from Chatelaine, I stitched three with different colours with clear beads.

Four Seasons Biscornus

Four seasons biscornu

I chose small designs from freebies, and arranged them to make my own biscornus. I picked tulip designs for Spring, fruit designs for Summer, Halloween designs for Autumn and Christmas designs for Winter. They turned out pretty good. I already gave Spring biscornu away.

My first biscornu in 2004

My first biscornu in 2004

When I saw a biscornu from a gallery (I don’t quite remember which gallery), it was attractive to me. What a neat idea. So I was just looking at that picture and thinking for a few days. Ok, I’ll stitch first and then figure it out. So, I stitched one square design, and cut the same size of fabric and used a pin to make a shape. And I made it myself without any instructions. I was so proud. When I showed it to my daughter, she just took it

I made another one in 2004 for my friend. I love blue & white and so does she.
