Joyeux Noel

There were 8 parts in this Christmas SAL from novelee02 in 2007, and I choose blue and white colour. I love how it turned out. I left it with one of my quilt friends when I went to Korea in 2007, to finish as a wall hanger, but I have not yet received this one back.

Starry Night

The Prairie Schooler #109, I stitched only 6 of the 7 designs and again, made a wreath, in 2006. This was my 6th wreath.

St. Nicholas

The Prairie Schooler #20, I stitched these in 2006 and made them into a Christmas Wreath. This was my 5th wreath.

I stitched everything except the white colour (Santa’s beard) on white fabric, as I didn’t have right fabric. Then I coloured the work-in-progress, by boiling in water with onion skins for about 10 minutes. Then I stitched Santa’s beard with white. They turned out good.

Noel Wreath

I chose two free patterns of Noel, but stitched on red fabric each word separately, and made a 7th wreath in 2008. I gave this one to my brother’s family as a Christmas gift and they loved it.

Monthly Project (Christmas Wreath)

This was my 2nd wreath, completed in 2004. It was a monthly project from a Korean web site. Every month one theme (something to ride, quilt, butterfly, etc…) was given by the owner of site. I chose a theme that was closest to a Christmas theme, to make a wreath. Somehow, that site was closed in the summer time, so I picked some other patterns to make 12. I don’t know why I was thinking that it had to be 12 … Anyways, I managed to finish.
