Sometimes this happens to me too, usually when I am writing a long comment, or when I am switching between websites. I find the safest way to post is to type it out, then highlight all the text and do ‘Control-C’ copy before posting. This way, if the post doesn’t work on the first try, I can do ‘Control-V’ paste to try posting again. Or better yet, type it in an eMail or Wordpad, then copy & paste into the post.
